Industrial software development: manufacturing and maintenance systems

We build production management, maintenance, quality and plant systems that sit on top of your existing ERP and MES landscape and replace spreadsheets and paper work orders. We start with an assessment and prove the value in one plant or department.

Where projects usually start

Most industrial software projects begin in the gap between the large enterprise systems and day-to-day plant work.

  • Spreadsheets next to the ERP

Planning, maintenance or quality runs in Excel and shared folders, and the ERP only ever sees the end result.

  • Paper on the shop floor

Work orders, checklists and shift handovers are filled in on paper and reach the system late or incomplete.

  • No live view of the plant

Downtime, scrap and the maintenance backlog only show up later, in reports assembled by hand.

  • The standard module doesn’t fit

The packaged module needs expensive customisation to match your production logic, or the missing steps are tracked alongside it.

What we build

Every system is designed around the actual plant process and connected to your existing enterprise systems.

  • Production management and tracking

Production orders, operations, material consumption and performance tracked against the ERP plan, with confirmations written back automatically.

  • Maintenance management (CMMS)

Asset register, preventive maintenance schedules, fault reporting, work orders and spare-part usage in one place.

  • Quality and traceability

Inspection plans, measurement results, non-conformance handling and batch traceability, with audit-ready records.

  • Health, safety and environment

Risk assessments, training, inspections and incidents recorded in one system, with deadline tracking.

  • Plant dashboards and reporting

Downtime, OEE, scrap and maintenance backlog reported from machine data and enterprise systems.

  • Legacy system replacement

We move the functions of an outdated, single-PC or unsupported in-house application to a modern system step by step, without stopping the plant.

Clients

Companies we have worked for.

  • HELL Energy
  • FANUC
  • iSTYLE
  • ELTEC Holding
  • AXIÁL
  • Melde
  • 4iG

Case studies are shared in a call, with the client’s consent.

How we work

An enterprise approach with low risk: at the end of every stage, you decide whether to continue.

  1. 01

    Assessment

We map the process, your existing systems and your security requirements – under NDA if you wish. You get a written proposal, a schedule and a fixed price for the next step.

  2. 02

    Proof of concept

In a short, fixed-price phase we prove the critical point on real data – an integration, an AI model’s accuracy or a workflow – before you commit a larger budget.

  3. 03

Pilot in one plant or department

We go live with one plant, department or team. We work in two-week cycles, refine based on user feedback and measure the goal agreed up front.

  4. 04

    Rollout and operations

We roll the proven solution out to further sites and teams, with documentation and training. Defects are fixed free of charge for 12 months after handover.

Technology

We use proven, widely known technology so that any experienced engineer can take the system forward later.

Application

  • TypeScript
  • React and Next.js
  • Vue and Nuxt
  • tablet and shop-floor interfaces

Data and integration

  • PostgreSQL
  • REST and OData interfaces
  • file-based interfaces (CSV, XML, Excel)
  • Python data processing

Operations

  • EU cloud or your own environment
  • automated testing and deployment (CI/CD)
  • backup and restore plan
  • monitoring and audit logging

About us

Pandai Tech Ltd has been building custom software since 2022. We are deliberately small: the senior engineer you meet in the first call is the one who builds your system – no chain of account managers and project managers in between, one point of decision and accountability.

We use AI-assisted engineering: machines speed up the routine work, while design, code review and accountability stay with people. That gets you to a working pilot faster than a large integrator would, without cutting corners on documentation.

A direct, senior point of contact
From the first call to operations, you talk to the person who builds the system.
Fixed-price stages
Assessment and proof of concept are fixed-price; pilot and rollout come with a scheduled quote and no hidden costs.
12-month warranty
Defects in delivered features are fixed free of charge for 12 months after handover.
English and Hungarian
You choose the language of specifications, documentation and communication.

We also build and run our own products: SafetyPro for maintenance and health-and-safety records, and Anonimer for whistleblowing.

Industrial software development: FAQ

How is custom manufacturing software different from an ERP or MES module?
ERP and MES cover standard processes well. Custom software pays off where your own production logic, maintenance or quality process does not fit the standard module, or where customising it would cost more. In that case it complements your enterprise system rather than replacing it.
Can you connect to our ERP and our machines?
Yes. We connect to the ERP and MES through the interfaces they provide, and take machine data from your existing control or data acquisition layer. We design the connection together with your IT and automation specialists.
How does a project like this start?
With an assessment that ends in a written proposal and a fixed-price quote. Next, a narrow proof of concept validates the critical point; then we go live in one plant or department and only roll out what has proven itself.
Does it work on the shop floor, with a weak network?
Yes, where the job requires it. Shop-floor screens are designed for tablets and large displays, and for field and shop-floor data capture we build mobile apps that work offline.
Where does the system run?
In an EU data centre, or in your own cloud tenant or on your servers. Permissions are role-based and every change is logged.
Who owns the source code?
You do. At handover you receive the full source code, documentation and usage rights, so another developer can take the system forward later.

Request a discovery call

Tell us briefly which process or system the project is about. You will get a personal reply.

What happens next?

  1. 01

We reply personally and schedule a short call about your goal, existing systems and timeline.

  2. 02

On request, we sign a non-disclosure agreement before you share any details.

  3. 03

You receive a written proposal for the assessment – scope, schedule and fixed price – so you can decide on the next step.
